Today, British Christmas brand Lapland Store officially opened its first U.S. flagship store in Midtown Manhattan, near Fifth Avenue. This immersive holiday experience transforms the space into an enchanting woodland wonderland, complete with a towering Christmas tree, atmospheric lighting, live performances every 30 minutes, and more than 40 elves bringing the magic to life. Visitors can sip hot chocolate while exploring exclusive holiday ornaments and festive treasures, all in a setting straight out of a Christmas storybook.

Before the first performance, I had the opportunity to attend an advance preview of this year’s production. One of the highlights is “Ring,” an all-new tap number set to the classic Christmas melody “Carol of the Bells.” It marks the Rockettes’ first new tap number in 20 years. With this addition, the 2026 production now features ten Rockettes performance numbers.
