An unforgettable 7 weeks comes to an end.

To captain & score my first World Cup goal last night was a really proud moment for me. Highest place finish at a World Cup since 1966 is a great achievement but we still want more & I know we can deliver more.

This group of players are very special and it’s been incredible to share these moments with them over the course of the tournament.

A massive thank you to our fans who have been amazing throughout, we as players cannot thank you enough for your support!
We hope you made countless memories that will stick with you forever.

昨晚，第一次以队长身份带领球队出战世界杯，并打进自己的首粒世界杯进球，这对我来说是无比自豪的时刻。这是英格兰自1966年以来在世界杯上的最佳战绩，我们为此感到骄傲，但我们的目标远不止于此，我相信这支球队还能做到更好。
