这是因地震失去家园的Keilis（28岁）和她4岁的儿子Noah。对于患有脑积水的诺亚和腿部受伤的母亲来说，UNICEF的避难所成了他们唯一的庇护所。

“虽然我的家倒塌了，但在这里，我们一家重新获得了继续生活的力量。这多亏了大家照顾生病的孩子，还为我们提供了热乎乎的饭菜和药物。虽然不知道未来会怎样，但我会和孩子们一起，不失去希望。”

UNICEF在委内瑞拉地震灾区开设了“儿童友好空间”，为孩子们提供安全的庇护和心理治疗，帮助他们克服灾难带来的创伤。

This is Keilis (28) and her four-year-old son, Noah, who lost their home in the earthquake. For Noah, who lives with hydrocephalus, and his mother, who injured her leg, a UNICEF shelter became their only safe refuge.

“Our home collapsed, but here we found the strength to keep going as a family. They cared for my sick child, provided us with warm meals and medicine, and reminded us that we are not alone. I don’t know what the future holds for us, but I want to keep holding on to hope for my children.”

UNICEF has established Child-Friendly Spaces in the earthquake-affected areas of Venezuela, providing children with a safe environment where they can recover from the trauma of disaster through protection, psychosocial support, and care.

For children whose ordinary lives were shattered by the earthquake, our compassion and support are urgently needed. Please join UNICEF in extending a helping hand so that these children can heal, regain hope, and smile again.
