The U.S. Navy and Marine Corps have kicked off Fleet Week New York.

The Young People’s Chorus of New York City delivered a moving performance during the Library’s special program surrounding the public display of its rare handwritten Declaration of Independence, commemorating the nation’s 250th anniversary.
As their voices filled the iconic steps of the Library, the evening became a powerful reminder that the ideals of freedom, hope, and democracy continue to inspire new generations. A beautiful blend of history, culture, and community in the heart of New York City.
