More than 20 aftershocks have been recorded in Venezuela after two powerful earthquakes struck the country's north-central region on June 24, according to the Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the two quakes, with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5, struck less than a minute apart.
