Pingtan Strait Rail-cum-Road Bridge is China’s first and the world’s longest cross-sea rail-road bridge, stretching 16.34 kilometers with over 11 kilometers spanning the sea. It carries a six-lane expressway on the upper deck and a double-track high-speed railway below, resembling a giant loong lying over the blue waves, linking the mainland and Pingtan.
