31-year-old American woman Kelsey was rowing alone across the Central Pacific Ocean when she encountered the Chinese ocean-going cargo ship, the Turtle Island. The 32-year-old captain, Ho, contacted her by radio to confirm her safety, as he noticed Kelsey's movement on the AIS was slow and feared she might be in distress. This simple video has garnered 293k likes and many heartwarming comments on Instagram, such as those below.
