In class, AAA is mostly attentive and engaged and he settles to work quickly. His writing is clear and generally fluent and he has shown a clear understanding of the texts we have studied. He does need to work on his text response essays as this is an important skill in English. In his responses, AAA needs to focus clearly on the topic and explain his ideas in more depth and detail. In the XXXXX section of the course, he produced some impressive pieces, but his response for the assessment was confusing and off topic. In these pieces, he must anchor his response to the Framework and the ideas suggested by the title.
