卡里尔·哈什米大使会见了辽宁省政协主席周波，双方开展了富有成果的会谈，就经济、投资、教育及文化交流领域的合作交换了意见与建议。辽宁省在化工、石化、农业、矿产、信息技术、新材料等诸多产业领域具备领先优势。

大使欣喜地发现，辽宁省的产业优势与中巴经济走廊二期重点发展领域高度契合，并邀请辽宁省制药、生物技术及医疗健康领域企业参与2026年7月17日至18日在巴基斯坦卡拉奇举办的企业对企业投资大会。

双方一致同意，将深化学术对接、技能提升、职业培训、技术转让、人文交流等领域合作，并推动信德省与辽宁省尽早缔结友好省份协议。

Ambassador Khalil Hashmi met with Mr. Zhou Bo, Chairman of the CPPCC Liaoning Provincial Committee, and held fruitful discussions, exchanging proposals on economic, investment, educational, and cultural exchanges. The northeastern province is a leader in a number of industries, especially chemicals, petrochemicals, agriculture, minerals, information technology, and new materials.

The ambassador was delighted to see strong alignment between the industrial strengths of Liaoning province and CPEC 2.0 priority areas; he invited Liaoning-based pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare companies to participate in a B2B investment conference in Karachi, Pakistan on 17-18 July 2026.

Both sides also agreed to deepen cooperation in academic linkages, skill development, vocational training, technology transfer, and people-to-people exchanges, and to sign a sister province agreement between Sindh and Liaoning provinces at the earliest opportunity.
