原文如下：“This is an important book, the critic assumes, because it deals with war. This is an insignificant book because it deals with the feelings of women in a drawing-room. A scene in a battlefield is more important than a scene in a shop.”

简单粗暴地理解是，战争题材高级，女性题材垃圾。

这种价值观不仅存在于文学领域，更是社会权力结构的投射。

战争作为父权制的产物，其“重要性”本质上是对男性主导的公共领域的合法性背书，而女性的家庭空间则被规训为次要的、琐碎的领域。
