卡里尔·哈什米大使受邀参加中国外交部组织的“启航‘十五五’：中国发展和全球机遇（广东行）”参访活动，与来自北京的各国大使和外交官同行。此次活动共有25位以上大使和52位以上外交官参加。

此次为期五天的参访活动，让到访人员实地感受了中国的发展成就。广东省近五十年前率先孕育并推动了中国改革开放战略，是观察中国发展的重要窗口。此次访问还将帮助其了解广东如何落实“十五五”规划（2026—2030年）的重点任务，包括加快科技创新、发展先进制造业、推进区域一体化、促进乡村振兴以及实现高质量发展。这也是一个宝贵的平台，让各方交流观点，探索双边及国际合作的新机遇。

Ambassador Khalil Hashmi is taking in the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s study visit to Guangdong Province, themed “Set Sail for the 15th Five-Year Plan: China’s Growth, World’s Opportunity”, alongside fellow ambassadors and diplomats based in Beijing. The event brings together more than 25 ambassadors and over 52 diplomats.

The five-day visit offers a first-hand experience of China's development strides in a province that incubated its reform and opening up strategy nearly five decades ago; and to learn about its plans to implement the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030) priorities including acceleration of innovation, advanced manufacturing, regional integration, rural revitalization, and high-quality development. It is also a valuable opportunity to exchange views and explore new avenues for bilateral and international cooperation.
