I first discovered you quite by accident while scrolling Douyin and came across clips of you from Design of Love. Ever since that day, I’ve been eager to learn everything about you—your dramas, interviews, YouTube videos, Instagram posts, and so much more. There are countless things about you that make me adore you endlessly, far too many to count. Let me share the ones that have left the deepest impression on my heart.
I’m not sure if traditional old-fashioned beliefs still exist in Thailand. But in China, girls are often expected to stay home, focus only on studying, and take on a submissive, dutiful role. Yet in you, I see the kind of freedom every girl dreams of. You have financial independence, hobbies you truly love, and the courage to live life exactly the way you want.
Through your YouTube and Instagram, I get to explore stunning scenery from all around the world. I’ve also picked up so many useful tips for reading and learning English from you, which has really helped me a lot as a college student. I’ll admit I can be a little lazy sometimes, but I’ll keep pushing myself to study harder, haha. I hope that after graduation, I can find my true passion and travel the globe to see the world.
What I love most about you is how genuine and down-to-earth you are. I’ve hardly ever seen an idol who cares for fans with such heartfelt sincerity. When we come to pick you up at the airport, you’ll gently take off your sunglasses just so we can get clear photos of you. You always respond to us warmly, blow hearts, and chat with us casually.
After fans put up support billboards for your fan meetings, you always take time out of your busy schedule to go check them in person, holding every bit of our love close to your heart. For every fan meeting, you prepare sweet surprises for us with all your heart. Even when you weren’t confident in singing and dancing at first, you pushed past your limits just to give us the best performances. I’m utterly obsessed with your vocals and dance performances. As a college student, I truly hope I’ll get to watch you sing and dance live in person one day.
Allow me to be a little superficial for a moment, haha. You are absolutely breathtaking. Your beauty and one-of-a-kind aura are so captivating, and I’ve never fallen for an idol as deeply as I have for you. Shhh… don’t sneak a smile reading this, dear Kao Kao.
I’ve seen so many sides of you—in interviews, fan meetings, and your dramas—but all I ever wish for is to meet you face to face someday. You have so many charming little traits that make you unforgettable. Every time I watch clips of other fans getting to meet you, I can’t help but wonder: when will it be my turn to stand right in front of you, shouting your name at the top of my lungs: Kao Kao!!! Mommy!!!
I think fate took pity on my disappointment lately. The Guangzhou fan meeting originally scheduled for May got canceled. On April 29th, while I was celebrating your birthday, I was quietly wondering if I’d ever get a chance to meet you. Then later that same afternoon, the Hong Kong fan meeting was announced.
I was over the moon at first, but soon grew nervous. It’s held on a Sunday, and this will be my very first time visiting Hong Kong. I know nothing about the routes there, and I was worried I’d get lost, struggle to find the venue, or even miss my way back to campus. Thankfully, a group of fellow fans who love you just as much are willing to travel to Hong Kong together with me. It really feels like destiny has granted me this precious chance to finally meet you in real life.
You have a huge number of loyal fans all across China. We’re all eagerly waiting for the day you can hold fan meetings in our cities, so we can pour out all our endless love for you in person. I also have a little personal wish: if there’s ever a chance, I hope you can hold a fan meeting in my hometown, Guangzhou. I’ll be right here, waiting for you forever.
Kao Kao, other than endlessly saying I love you, my whole life is filled with expectations: waiting to meet you, waiting for your new works, waiting for your stage performances, waiting for your daily updates, waiting for your life shares, and waiting for every next encounter with you.
