猫公说： “残荷”是一种境界。这幅写生把这个意境呈现出来。有一种美， 是在佛家人所谓“缘散即寂”之后才焕发出来。总以为时光岁月是摧残，其实是一个造就的过程。这样的作品令人珍惜岁月的赠予（"Withered Lotuses" represent a state of being. This sketch captures and conveys that very sentiment. There exists a certain kind of beauty—one that blossoms only after the "ties of destiny have dispersed," to borrow a concept from Buddhist philosophy. We often assume that the passage of time is merely a force of decay; in truth, it is a process of creation and refinement.
