Everyone carries their own burdens in life, never hurt anyone lightly. Even if you apologize later, the crack in the heart remains and can never be fully mended. A casual word or thoughtless act can easily hurt others, so pause three seconds before speaking, and ask yourself before acting: will this cause pain to others? Physical wounds heal over time, but emotional scars are the hardest to soothe. True spiritual practice is not about external rituals, but about guarding your speech and nurturing kindness—this matters more than any other form of practice. May we all speak gently, wrap our words and deeds in kindness, and dissolve our inner troubles and emotions.——Respected Teacher Jia Cuo
