在美国口语中，“out of the question” 的意思是 “不可能的；办不到的；不值得讨论的”，通常用来表示某件事情是完全不可行或不可能发生的。

例如：
1、Going on a trip this month is out of the question because I'm too busy with work.（这个月去旅行是不可能的，因为我工作太忙了。）
