5月22日，印度驻华大使馆举办泰戈尔诞辰日纪念活动，以一场精彩纷呈的晚会，缅怀圣哲罗宾德拉纳特·泰戈尔的生平、诗歌、音乐与不朽遗产。活动汇聚了中印及国际社会的学者、艺术家、学生与泰戈尔爱好者。

活动伊始，印度驻华大使魏嘉盟阁下与贵宾向泰戈尔塑像敬献鲜花。

当晚活动内容丰富：董友忱教授、刘建教授发表真知灼见，阐述泰戈尔在文学、哲学与文明层面的深远意义；孟加拉社群Debparna与Sabyasachi深情演绎泰戈尔乐曲；王钦刚先生朗诵诗歌；中国艺术家与学生献上文化表演，包括河北外国语学院学生的舞剧演出，以及流萤诗韵剧团的音乐演奏。

庆典在传统孟加拉茶点的温馨氛围中圆满落幕。

A vibrant evening at Embassy of India, Beijing celebrating Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore's poetry, music, and his enduring literary legacy on the occasion of Tagore Jayanti.

In true reflection of Gurudev's teachings, scholars, artistes, students, and admirers from the Chinese, Indian, and wider international communities came together on 22 May 2026 in a spirit of shared culture and friendship.

Ambassador Vikram Doraiswami led the guests in paying floral tributes at Gurudev's bust.

The evening featured insightful reflections on Tagore's literary, philosophical, and civilizational legacy by Prof. Dong Youchen and Prof. Liu Jian.

Guests also enjoyed soulful Rabindra Sangeet by Ms. Debparna and Shri. Sabyasachi from the Bengali community, poetry recitations by Mr. Wang Qingang, and beautiful performances by Chinese artistes and students, including a dance-drama by students of Hebei International Studies University and musical performances by the FireFly Poetic Theater Troupe.

The evening concluded warmly with traditional Bengali refreshments.
