Fado Festival 2026 Returns to Shanghai

O Festival do Fado 2026 regressa a Xangai, sob o tema "Bairros", e realizar-se-á no dia 5 de setembro no Centro de Artes Oriental de Xangai. A conceituada artista Cristina Branco apresentará um concerto especial, cuja arte está profundamente enraizada na tradição, fundindo influências diversificadas como o jazz e a literatura.
Paralelamente, será exibido o documentário "Do Bairro" e terá lugar uma palestra temática, conduzida pelo fadista Rodrigo Costa Félix. Com início em 2011, o festival já foi realizado em 21 cidades de 15 países, distribuídos por quatro continentes, com o objetivo de promover a música fado e divulgar a língua e cultura portuguesas.

2026年法朵音乐节再度来沪，以“法朵街区”为主题，将于9月5日在上海东方艺术中心举办，葡萄牙代表性音乐家克里斯蒂娜·布兰科将呈现专场音乐会，其艺术根植于传统，融汇爵士与文学等多元影响。
同期将举行纪录片《街区》放映，以及由法朵歌手Rodrigo Costa Félix主持的主题讲座。该音乐节始于2011年，至今已在四大洲15个国家的21座城市举办，旨在通过推广法朵音乐，传播葡萄牙语言与文化。

In 2026, the Fado Festival returns to Shanghai with the theme "Fado Neighborhood," set to take place on September 5 at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center. Portuguese representative musician Cristina Branco will present a special concert, whose art is deeply rooted in tradition while blending diverse influences such as jazz and literature.
Concurrently, there will be a screening of the documentary "From Neighborhood" and a themed lecture hosted by Fado singer Rodrigo Costa Félix. Launched in 2011, the festival has been held in 21 cities across 15 countries on four continents, aiming to promote Fado music and spread Portuguese language and culture.
