Many people obsess over whether the outcome will be good or bad, yet forget to ask themselves: what is my original intention for doing this? In truth, the motivation behind our actions matters far more than the result. When we act with compassion, this kindness plants a field of merit in our hearts; when we act with greed, even if we get what we want temporarily, we will eventually be burdened by that very greed. The heart is the starting point of everything. Where we begin with our heart determines where we will end up. Every thought and intention shapes our life.
