This Ming Dynasty celadon bowl was unearthed in 2015 at the Taikang Road construction site. At its center lies a “Fu” (blessing) character— a hallmark of Ming Dynasty Guangdong celadon made in the Longquan style. This unique signature not only showcases the creative ingenuity of the kiln artisans but also embodies traditional folk aspirations for a prosperous life. Though the rim and body are partially damaged , the bowl’s green glaze and form clearly identify it as a piece made in the Longquan style.
