Ever since I had my first child 7 and a half years ago, I have celebrated Mother’s Day every year with my family.
But for the first time, I’m alone.
Because of the filming schedule, I’ve had to communicate remotely through phone calls and text messages and especially on a day like this— it hits harder than most.

But this morning, I got a beautiful video sent to me from my husband and the kids, all delightfully shouting: HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to the BEST MOM IN THE WORLD! Rafa even added that he wishes me good luck and success all the way…

Me? Best mother？
When I first decided to chase my dream and be on this show I was worried that I would have less time with the family and it would affect us. To my surprise, not only has this strengthened how the kids view me, but I have felt everyone’s unconditional support every single day.

Being a mother is inarguably the most and best role in my life, but little did I think that taking risks, overcoming challenges and building my confidence would become such a powerful message and inspiration to my children.

To all the mothers in this world, I wish you the best day today, to celebrate all your accomplishments and your flaws— I know that as a woman, every move we make is a huge decision and can affect those around us. But remember this— you are also the biggest blessing to your family and we should be proud of who we are！
