In life, there are always some things that we cannot escape and must complete. Even if we are not happy in our hearts, even if we feel somewhat reluctant, instead of frowning and dealing with them full of complaints, we might as well adjust our mindset and finish them well with a gentle countenance and earnest demeanor. Whether we invest the same time and energy, the kind of heart we bring to our actions determines the kind of results we will reap. When you act with kindness and patience, you will naturally be like a spring breeze caressing the face, reaping the gratitude and respect of others, and accumulating good karma for yourself; if you complain and blame others, speak harshly, and have a bad attitude while doing things, even if you exhaust all your strength and put in hard work, what you get in return will only be the resentment and alienation of others. For the same thing, different mindsets and attitudes will lead to completely different final outcomes. Why let temporary negative emotions drain yourself and hurt others at the same time? Choosing to face every thing we have to do with softness and earnestness is not only compassion for others, but also the best spiritual practice for yourself.——Respected Teacher Jia Cuo
