Some of these women have worked their asses off since the time when they were still college students, getting exceptional grades, they have stood out in an industry rife with prejudice and almost toxic masculinity, driven by their sincere love for motorsport and putting in twice the effort of their male counterparts to stand in the teams, sit in the cockpits and take on leadership roles. These women are the ones who truly deserve to be seen and respected - they are even the embodiment of the spirit of extreme sports. But the cameras are reluctant to focus on them. Because this is no longer an era where one can dream.
