如果念佛者只顾自己往生极乐，修禅者只想个人了脱生死，没有进一步发心利益众生，就不能算作真正的大乘行者。
If those who recite the Buddha’s name care only about their own rebirth in the Pure Land, and those who practice meditation seek solely their personal liberation from birth and death, without further generating bodhicitta to benefit all sentient beings, then they cannot be regarded as genuine practitioners of the Mahayana path.
