To cultivate the Seven-Point Cause-and-Effect, we need to regard all sentient beings as our mothers. With our present mind, this is difficult, so we must keep persuading ourselves. Yet this is not a problem, for every way of thinking develops step by step. What matters is to accept this view and strengthen it through repeated reflection.
