能仰望星辰,亦能俯身耕耘;

渺小,是我们的来处;

Small and Great

Man, how small you are —
Like dust upon the earth, like fireflies lost in the endless night.
A mere breath in the river of time,
A single grain in the boundless sky.

Man, how great you are —
With fragile flesh, you stand against the shifting tide;
With a heart no wider than a hand, you hold the mountains and the sea.
You gaze at stars, yet kneel to sow the land;
You taste all sorrow and joy, and still create what time cannot.

Smallness — where we begin;
Greatness — where we long to win.

From smallness, we learn to kneel;
From greatness, we learn to feel.
Root deep in the small,
Rise toward the all.
