On March 28, 2026, the gala concert of the ballet "Flight Filled with Soul" took place on the historic stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. It was dedicated to the memory of the incomparable principal dancer Vladimir Shklyarov. The life of this Honored Artist of Russia was tragically cut short in November 2024. Part of the proceeds will go toward the creation and installation of a monument to the artist at the Smolensky Cemetery.
The monument was created by Andrey Korobtsov, a sculptor and member of the Moscow Union of Artists who creates monuments in Russia and abroad.
