在观看 《The Monkey》里的作品时，画面是安静的、精致的，人物甚至显得克制而体面，但正是这种体面，让一切变得不太对劲。形象稳妥，情绪却暗藏表面之下，像是被礼貌地压住了。一种“过度正常”的状态渗出荒诞感，世界忽然显露出了它冷静却无法被解释的一面，错位悄然显现。
这种观看经验更接近一种结构性的错位。在《The Monkey》中，幽默存在，却锋利、带着距离，让人意识到这种状态本身的普遍性。也正是在这样的观看之中，一种更缓慢、更包容的回应方式逐渐显现。平衡与持续前行本身超越理解，成为了一种温和而克制的自由。
