and they practice 1000 times harder than 400 IM race???[惊恐][惊恐][惊恐]

"Bob knows best, especially when it comes to an event like the 400 IM. And we've done lots of practices that are a thousand times harder than a 400 IM race. So lots of *IM ladders, long course, also short rest. So definitely all this training, all this practices give me lots of confidence heading into tonight's final."

*IM ladder is hard set like 50IM→100IM→150IM→200IM→400IM

"Well, I think for me, I just have an extra boost of confidence knowing I have started to try and master this race when it comes to splits and things like that. I mean, obviously I have ways to go on my breaststroke, but going in, I know how to execute the race. So I'll have to look back on my splits and see where I can improve on. But yeah, I think just having lots of confidence and also this being one of my favorite events, I have a lot of passion for it really helps going into."
