Idek where to begin. Thinking about how much this song has changed my life makes me emotional. Every dream and goal I’ve achieved up to now started with this song.

For so many years, I was told that dreams like this weren’t possible.. but my mom believed in me from day one. She always taught me that if I worked hard and stayed focused, I could do anything I put my mind to. If she hadn’t instilled those values in me, I wouldn’t have had the strength or belief to make any of this happen. I was born with a passion for music and singing but I learnt my resilience and courage to be strong from my mother. I watched my mom struggle to provide for my family, working every hour of the day just to make ends meet. all I ever wanted to do was change that for her.

I know it’s so cliche and silly to talk about money or things you’ve bought but I just have to say that Fingers crossed brought me nominations, plaques, and all of those special things us artists dream of but the thing I’m most proud and grateful for is that fingers crossed changed my life in a way that I was able to buy my mom a house & give her real financial freedom. To have my mom be able to travel the world with us and watch me live my dream while not stressing about if she can drive me to a friends house over gas money is all I’ve ever wanted. You guys have made all of this happen. You have not only given me an amazing opportunity to truly do my passion for a job but you have helped provide a life for me and my family we couldn’t have imagined we would have.
