Microsoft will invest in Portugal’s AI infrastructure
A Microsoft Corp. vai investir 10 mil milhões de dólares num centro de dados de inteligência artificial ao longo da costa portuguesa, assinalando um dos seus maiores investimentos europeus deste ano.
微软公司将斥资100亿美元在葡萄牙海岸建设一个人工智能数据中心，这是其今年在欧洲最大的投资之一。
Microsoft Corp. will spend $10 billion on an artificial intelligence data center along the Portuguese coast, marking one of its largest European investments this year.

Classificado como projeto PIN e acompanhado pela AICEP, o SINES Data Centre é uma das maiores infraestruturas tecnológicas em Portugal, reforçando o país como um hub europeu para a inteligência artificial e a cloud.

Announced at the Web Summit, Brad Smith highlighted that this is one of Microsoft’s largest investments in Europe this year. Classified as a PIN project and accompanied by AICEP, the SINES Data Centre is one of Portugal’s biggest tech infrastructure investments, reinforcing the country as a European hub for AI and cloud.
O investimento dá continuidade à parceria estabelecida em outubro com a Nscale para instalar 12.600 processadores NVIDIA no primeiro edifício. O Ministro da Economia e Coesão Territorial, Castro Almeida, considerou tratar-se de um “investimento transformador” para o ecossistema digital e de talento em Portugal.
这一投资延续了微软在十月与 Nscale 的合作，在首栋建筑中安装了12,600个 NVIDIA 处理器。葡萄牙经济兼国土融合部长卡斯特罗·阿尔梅达称其为葡萄牙数字与人才生态系统的“变革性投资”。
The investment builds on October’s partnership with Nscale to install 12,600 NVIDIA processors in the first building. The Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Castro Almeida, called it a “transformative investment” for Portugal’s digital and talent ecosystem.
