Chicago night 2 BACK TO BADLANDS this tour is so surreal. I was nervous about the decision to return to smaller rooms in honor of this album. I wasn’t sure what would happen because concert culture has changed so much. The whole thing feels like time travel, but every now and again it’s more like teleportation. Like I’m inhabiting my 19 year old body and watching from behind the not-yet-developed mind in my skull. Chicago was this. Moments flashes where I wasn’t sure where we were or what was happening. Pure magic. Thank you. 2 more shows on this leg and then she sleeps!
