🌹恩情 Gratitude

恩情不能忘 Gratitude will never be forgotten./I will never forget your kindness./I shall never forget the favors you have done to me.

《诗经》云：“投我以木桃，报之以琼瑶。”感恩是刻在中国人骨子里的处世智慧，在人生的路上，这六种恩情如同明灯，照亮前行之路，纵历经岁月，终生不能忘。
《The Book of Songs》says: "You throw a peach to me, I give you a white jade for friendship./When you throw a peach to me，I repay you a white jade." Gratitude is the wisdom of life engraved in the bones of Chinese people, on the journey of life, these six kinds of grace are like beacons illuminating the path forward. Through the years, never to forget/Lasting memories through time/Never forget in one's life.

1) 父母养育之恩：一寸草难报三春晖。The kindness of parents in raising their children: A blade of grass can hardly repay the spring sunshine.

2）师长教诲恩：传道授业行前路，Teachers' guidance and kindness:/Guidance from mentors:/Wisdom imparted from elders:/Instructions from those in authority: Transmitting wisdom and imparting knowledge go before the way (doctrine/principle).

3）配偶扶持恩：风雨同舟共晨昏。Spouse support/ Mutual support: Through thick and thin, sharing dawn and dusk together.

4）朋友患难恩：雪中送炭见真情。Friends in need, grace: A friend in need is a friend in deed./Helping a lame dog over a stile.

5）贵人拉携恩：滴水之恩当涌泉相报。A benefactor offers support and grace/A noble patron extends generality: The kindness of a drop of water should be repaid with a gushing spring.

6）众生色容恩：海内百川容万物。Compassion for all sentient beings: Every river in the sea accommodates all things./The ocean embraces all rivers./All rivers flow into the sea.
