All the princes, after having offered alms to countless hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas, all attained Buddhahood. "Offering alms to countless hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas": Note! Do not interpret the words literally. The Buddhas are countless. If one were to offer alms to countless Buddhas, then he would never be able to become a Buddha in the future. In terms of the first truth, if one has deep faith in the "Tathagatagarbha", then one has already offered alms to countless hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas. In the "Expedient Means Chapter", the Buddha said with His golden mouth: Praising a single verse or a single sentence of the Lotus Sutra is equivalent to offering alms to all Buddhas. Are all Buddhas not "countless hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas"? In all the sutras and treatises, they all point to the same thing, which is "realizing the mind and seeing the nature" - seeing the nature is to become a Buddha, and seeing the nature is to offer alms to all Buddhas. Why did the Buddha say, "Even if one hears a single verse or a single sentence of the Wonderful Dharma Lotus Sutra and even if one has a single thought of rejoicing, all will be given a prophecy"? In other words, is a single thought of rejoicing not "offering alms to countless hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas"?

是诸王子，供养无量百千万亿佛已，皆成佛道：「供养无量百千万亿佛」：注意！不可依文解字。佛是无量的，要供养无量佛，那他到未来的未来都不能成佛。讲第一义谛，对「如来藏」深信不疑，你即已「供养无量百千万亿诸佛」。在〈方便品〉有佛金口玉言：赞叹一句《法华经》，即为供养一切佛。一切佛是不是「无量百千万亿佛」？千经万论，处处指归，归到「明心见性」——见性即佛，见性即是供养一切佛。为什么佛讲「闻妙法华经一偈一句，乃至一念随喜者，皆与授记」？换句话说，「一念随喜」是不是「供养无量百千万亿佛」啊？
