原文：Independent filmmaking is one of the purest forms of storytelling. It’s raw, it’s gritty, and it usually takes years to put together with little more than passion, creativity, and a shoe string budget. These films don’t have the luxury of massive crews or endless resources, but they do more often than not have a lot of heart. That’s why they need all the support they can get.

As an actor or crew member taking on an indie film- you’re not there for the glamour, you’re there because you love the craft and art of it all. You’re there because you believe in the story being told. Indie filmmaking is about collaboration, sacrifice, and a shared love of film. When it all comes together, what’s on screen feels even more powerful, because you know it was built from real passion.

I hope you’ll check out our little independent film- What We Hide. It deals with the opioid crisis which has affected so many families. This crew had serious passion and heart- I’ll forever cherish the laughs, cries, late night 4AM after work Taco Bell outings, surviving a hurricane together and the personal bonds and conversations about our own life experiences with addiction. Our movie is out now in select theaters and VOD on August 29th. Every ticket bought, every stream, every conversation shared about this film is important- to help open up conversation about drug addiction, and to also help keep the spirit of indie film making alive so we can keep telling these important stories❤️❤️
