俄克拉荷马市市长大卫·霍尔特宣布，今天正式成为“萨姆·普雷斯蒂日”！
普雷斯蒂对成功球队的愿景——反映俄克拉荷马州努力工作、团结和坚韧价值观的球员——创造了一些人现在所说的王朝的开始。他独特的策略带领俄克拉荷马雷霆队参加了14场季后赛、5场西部决赛、2场NBA总决赛，现在是NBA总冠军！

By proclamation of Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt, today is officially "Sam Presti Day"!
Presti’s vision of what constitutes a successful team – players who reflect Oklahoma's values of hard work, togetherness, and resiliency – has created what some people are now calling the beginning of a dynasty. His unique strategy has led the Oklahoma City Thunder to appearances in 14 postseasons, 5 Western Conference Finals, 2 NBA Finals, and now an NBA Championship!
From Mayor Holt's championship parade speech:
"Having an NBA team is no guarantee of having an NBA champion. A third of the teams in the NBA have never won a championship. That is a list we are no longer on, and we have one man’s genius to thank for that. For 17 years, we have hosted the greatest general manager in the history of professional sports, and that is why Tuesday, July 1st will be Sam Presti Day in Oklahoma City. On that day, we will honor Sam and his basketball staff, as well as all business staff, who make those rosters possible, as well as the game presentation staff, because the entire organization has ultimately reflected the culture that Sam envisioned. Let’s thank Sam and all Thunder employees for all they did to create the environment for this championship day."
But Presti also has a deep-rooted passion for community involvement and philanthropic efforts. He leads initiatives at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, OU Children's Hospital, and the Thunder Fellows program. That's why we are so proud to have Sam as part of the 2025 Class of Honorees that will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame this November!
