Ambassador Khalil Hashmi Inaugurated Tata Pakistani restaurant in Haikou city, Hainan Island in Southern China, in a vibrant ceremony organized by the founders and owners: Mr. Ali Imran, a Pakistani national and his Chinese partner Dr. Hu. This restaurant, together with another one in Lanzhou city of Gansu province in western China, with wide selection of desi dishes are commendable efforts to introduce Pakistani cuisine to Chinese friends.

In his remarks, Ambassador Khalil Hashmi commended Mr. Ali Imran and Dr. Hu for their initiative which helps further foster and deepen people-to-people ties between Pakistan and China. He also briefed the audience about Pakistan’s cuisine and culture, and encouraged the wider Chinese audience to savor delicious 🇵🇰 dishes.
