“The End of the World” by Joe Hisaishi will make its U.S. premiere in Pittsburgh this September

This work was inspired by his visit to New York in the fall of 2007. It explores the theme of "anxiety and chaos" resulting from the collapse of world order and values caused by the September 11 attacks in 2001.
