In an interview with CGTN's Guan Xin, he emphasized that as two major export economies, China and Europe share common interests in maintaining a multilateral trade system, particularly in response to rising U.S. tariffs. He noted that both sides advocate reducing protectionism and resolving disputes through the WTO framework.
