It was an immense honor to have been invited by Professor Wonse Park and the Korean Academy of Advanced General Dentistry for a trip to Seoul, Korea.

The trip kicked off with a visit to College of Dentistry at Yonsei University and a research seminar with research professors and students, followed by tours of two prestigious Korean Implant companies and delightful meetings with their founders. The journey culminated in giving a lecture at KAGD with my favourite periodoontist Jack Jichao , sharing our treatment philosophies and basic experience on full-arch implant treatment with Korean colleagues. Between this tight schedule, I even managed to get my hair dyed and submit a paper while at the hair salon!!

Every time I embark on trips for conferences, courses, or lectures, I am astounded by how my profession connects me with people, bridging the gaps of culture and differences. Reflecting on this trip, my heart was filled with gratitude and my soul was filled with Soju🤣🤣
