Almost there… Now this track was a bit confusing: Lly’s demo was great, but he originally didn’t think it was suited for prep. We all loved it. Then we started working on it and that’s when the slammed piano first made an appearance. Then the gated drums. Then a lot of reverb… It started sounding so 80s… We had to stop and rethink, and got lost… We were all actually a bit intimidated by this track, so much that we refused to work on it ourselves to prevent ruining it. This song was one of the first ones we took to Renaud Letang, and together we changed the direction, sonics and embraced electric guitar! Quite rare for us ;) Regardless, this song slams, and if you’ve attended one of our recent live shows you would have heard us play it. What do you think?
