Hello everyone.I’m Hoo Tingxiao from Shude Senior High School. Today I will introduce a famous historical character, Yang Chun.Yang Chun is a famous officer who borned in Pi county during Song Dynasty in 1094 A.D.. He was so brilliant that he can wrote essays when he was only seven. He was chosen to be a Minister of War and Guo Zi Jian Ji Jiu who worked in Lin’an, which was the capital city of South Song Dynasty. One day,the emperor Zhao Gou accidentally memorized his fellow friend Xun Wang and Zhang Jun. The emperor decided to give an occupation to their sons. Yang wrote an essay to persuade the emperor that if he were determined to do things like this, then he will be criticized by his people. One year Sichuan was attacked by a severe drought which caused thousands of tramps. Yang wrote another essay to ask the emperor to give out the grain in Chang Ping Granary. Thanks to his suggestions,Sichuan became wealthy again.In 1161, Yang became the prime minister of Song Dynasty. Not long after that,Yang was retired. After his retirement he drank wine with his neighbors. He was so kind that everyone playing with him forgot that he was once a prime minister. Sadly Yang Chun died in 1167 A.D.,leaving Song dynasty a wealthy country. I admire his courage and justice a lot.
