“As the Twilight Darkens” was one of the first songs written for the Troubadour album. I was listening to a lot of medieval music with different rhythms and chord structures that were inspiring me at the time. When this song came together, I started to get the itch to make a whole project within this world. Every song from this album was co-written by the great Roger Cook.
