群里小伙伴突然讨论起来了天河石烟晶标本组合，就是那个几乎全球独一家的美国Dorris家族（分享过很多次，还写过一篇文：http://t.cn/A6WgZyMk）的天河烟晶标本
然后就顺便聊了聊，自他家开了ins账号后，关于挖掘、修复的消息知道的更多了，其实他家能够这么出名，固然和派克峰独一无二的烟晶天河石组合出产有关，但也和西方人在矿物标本修复技术多年的积累同样密不可分，正好Tim Dorris分享过一个修复前后的对比图，我发出来大家看看，顺便附上原文说明：

We found this piece during the second to last week of the 2020 mining season. It comes from the Chandelier Pocket, Sky Hawk claim, Colorado. We named it that due to how the pocket formed with the "hanging wall" being complete and damage free. This formed a "chandelier" of specimens. The specimens found from it are the least repaired and restored specimens we have ever found. Pictured here is the specimen just collected and hand washed in some water. The next two pictures show the piece finalized and fully processed through our mineral cleaning and prep lab. Not only do I consider this piece to be one of the top pieces from the pocket but one of the finest amazonite and smoky combos ever found. It is damage free with no restorations and only one repair.
