👉🏻有人问我，英文中有句话"Uncertainty is the only certainty there is"最后的 there is 能不能省略？
这个 there is 是定语从句，修饰前面的 certainty，表示“存在的”。
is 除了做系动词，还可以做实义动词表示 exist（想想 to be or not to be）。
所以这句话意思是：不确定是唯一存在的确定。
去掉 there is 也说得通，不过加个 there is 逻辑更严谨。
