每次听到这些歌词，我都会想起梵高是如何通过他的艺术作品表达他的幻灭、痛苦和与周围人的隔离。
运动员承受着极其孤独的压力，即使周围有一个完整的团队的支持，我们常常觉得，对看似遥不可及的梦想的追求足以把自己逼疯，我们独自走在拼搏之路上。
我在《文森特（星夜）》的结尾张开双臂，是在向上空的星辰和在场的每一个人发出问题或一个无期限的邀请，请求大家倾听和理解。我试着表达出梵高在凝视着自己的艺术创作品时的感受，默默地乞求世间万物与他携手同行、抚去他所遭受的疯狂和痛苦。

Every time I hear these lyrics I’m reminded of how Van Gogh expressed his disillusionment, suffering, and isolation from people around him through his art.
The burden an athlete bears is extremely lonely, even with a full support team around us. We often feel like we are being driven to insanity by our pursuit of seemingly impossible dreams, and we feel like we take on our struggles alone.
When I open my arms at the end of “Vincent (Starry Starry Night)”, I am posing a question or an open-ended invitation to the stars above and everyone in the audience, asking them to listen and understand. I try to channel how Van Gogh would have felt when staring at his art subjects, silently begging inanimate and animate objects alike to join hands with him and ease his insanity and suffering.
