毛背鱼科（Trichonotidae）是虾虎鱼目毛背鱼亚目下唯一的一个科，但长得和虾虎鱼目其他类群完全不同，在传统分类中它被置于鳄𬶮亚目下。毛背鱼科有一属十种，各个物种都挺好看的，这类鱼身体很修长，平时住在沙子里，但雄鱼一游出来就很惊艳。
