Very sorry to hear about the sudden passing of Virgil Abloh. He influenced an entire generation in fashion and along the way smashed glass ceilings and blew the lid off the status quo in this industry. He shook things up in all the right ways. I remember Gigi introducing me to him a few years ago and thinking how sweet and humble he was, despite all of the industry accolades heading his way. It always seemed like he handled the attention he had with grace and a warm smile. Three weeks ago I was with him at his retrospective art exhibit and I remember finishing the museum tour and thinking about all he had accomplished so far and wondering what he would do next. I had no idea that would be the last time. Gone too soon is an understatement, but its now up to us to take the positivity he put into the world of fashion and push it further.
