What a journey it has been for me so far. I started this journey weight training at age 15 (on the left) for recreational sports to improve strength, being a smaller individual growing up it was difficult to excel in sports just because I felt like I was always pre mature compared to my peers so going to the gym has built a strong passion for me towards health & fitness and most importantly strength/ hypertrophy training.
At age 21 (middle photo) after about 4-5 years of actual bodybuilding training I competed in my first competition. This was the moment I realized I had the potential to excel in this sport. 5 years of constant grinding and striving for continual improvement I dedicated my life to training and learning more about my body and self I was able to create a system that really worked for me.
I stepped foot on the @mrolympiallc stage at age 26, didn’t have any expectations it was a long year of competing and uncertainty but that kid on the left was the kid I didn’t want let down. Any time I faced any difficulties or struggles I’d always reminisce the times I used to spend 3-4 hours at the gym due to my mother being at work & I’d have to wait for a ride to get home, so I’d do everything from weight training to hitting the heavy bag to using the pool and sauna at the fitness facility I was currently at. I told myself that I’d never let that kid down and it has been very rewarding to reach this point in my competing career. It’s not over yet, I’m hungry for more. The journey continues on...#健身##运动就是坚持#
