Weighed about 162-164 lbs in this photo. I was 21 years old with about 4-5 years of weight training under my belt at this point. I remember how passionate I was about training during this time. I’d religiously go to the gym everyday at the same time with the same training partners blasting edm and sipping on pre getting amped up for our training sessions lol ( @darrencarrillo_ @rj_cuartocruz ). Every single day we would challenge each other and I believe that’s where the work ethic came into play. I had one goal in mind during this time and that was to see what my potential was. This was my first time actually ever going into a calorie deficit to get as lean as I possibly could. I was always one to have trouble with putting on weight because my metabolism was so fast so for the past 4-5 years leading up to this I was just eating in a surplus everyday and training really heavy. If you want to achieve something bad enough you’ll find a way to make it work. You know what is needed to be done and it’s truly up to you to do it. It’s never too late to get started on your fitness goals/ journey. Take it a step at a time and the results will come
