Places like this are treasures. National treasures. Amazing lyrical landscapes, running around with this crew in search of (and finding) inspiring biodynamic wines. Faces caked in sunblock as my tired pale being rejuvenated in the warm sun shine. I needed this. We all do sometimes.
At Mattei’s Tavern you feel history but with subtle modern elegance. I got some quiet time strategizing and reformatting to focus on what is most important. Family, health/wellness, the new film and bourbon all strung together in one long and every-playing melody.
